Function Room & Party Venue in Preston
Our function room is fully climate-conditioned and can cater for up to 140 guests for a sit down meal. It has a large oak dance floor area and is equipped with the latest state of the art lighting and a high specification audio system, with corner and ceiling speakers that compliment the decor and provide excellent sound quality. The room is also equipped with overhead projector WiFi and loop facilities. A stage is available if required by a DJ, band or entertainer.

Catering
In March 2006 Martin and Hannah Horner opened the grand grade 2 listed Georgian building as “The Borough” for the people of Lancaster with the promise to serve honest, quality, locally sourced produce at reasonable prices in beautiful surroundings.
At the core of our business is our promise to you to serve local produce and wherever possible purchase from local suppliers directly. We firmly believe in supporting our nearest and dearest, all our chicken is corn-fed and eggs are free range; our beef, pork and lamb are from local farms in the surrounding hills and valleys. We try to use native sustainable fish wherever possible and to use local and independent suppliers, keeping our carbon footprint low and our local economy buzzing.
But sourcing the good stuff is pointless without properly skilled chefs, determined to turn it into honest plates of good food. So we invest in that rare breed too. The Borough has been in the Michelin guide to eating out in pubs for 4 years running, the good food guide and has received 5 Taste of Lancashire awards and are delighted to be the sole caterer at Wyrebank function suite.
